• every student must have to take the mess facility,means they take  the  mess charges with fees along.

• mess food quality on a scale of 5 would be-3 *

Hostel facilities in IIT Jodhpur

• Separate Boys girls hostels.

• number of students in one room -1(by the way it changes year to year.)

• Each and every room is AIR conditioned(only IIT which Contains AC's in hostel rooms)

• Drink vending machines available in every Hostel,which takes so nominal charges.

• views about hostels-Great,really feel like HOME.Excellent at all.

• No swimming Pool available till now.

Some not so asked information but important to consider!!

• Regarding getting in and out of campus- No Entry will be given between 12am to 5am,you have to face the hostel office for explanation.

• Nature of seniors towards juniors is the best thing which makes IITs different from other colleges,they are so helpful and supportive.they are like friends to us even some are like brothers! there's no scene of RAGGING in IITs now:)

• First yearites have to take some compulsory sports activities which some students didn't like.
